RECYCLING GIANT MAKES THE MOVE TO KENILWORTH
Multinational waste management giant Suez Recycling and Recovery is making the move to Kenilworth having successfully secured a new contract with Warwickshire County Council.
A subsidiary of Suez Environmental, the UK based organisation provides expert and cost-effective recycling and waste management to businesses and local authorities across the country, and has now been selected to handle waste management across Warwickshire.
Already trading from nine sites across Warwickshire and the West Midlands, Suez has shown further commitment to the area with the signing of a 13-year lease on a 5,044 sq ft industrial unit at Farmer Ward Road, which will see them take on the Kenilworth property until 2029.
The new premises, which achieved a rent of £28,500 per annum, was secured by Leamington-based commercial property consultants, ehB Commercial.
Jonathan Blood, assistant surveyor at ehB Commercial, said: “Suez is a fantastic covenant business and any landlord would be happy to have them as an occupier. The length of the lease shows real commitment in uncertain times and I am sure that the location of the unit will be invaluable to them in their day to day operations.”
